Retail and dealer copies use the same fulfillments, returns, and billing engine as home delivery. You don't need a separate newsstand system.
Dealers and store chains as accounts
Set up each store, dealer, or distribution partner as a customer, one at a time or in bulk through an AI Agent import. Group the locations under an organization to see their open and past-due invoices with one net-due total.
Draw per delivery point
Each delivery point carries its own copy count. The Bundle Manifest breaks every draw into full bundles plus remaining copies, grouped by carrier and route in delivery-sequence order.
Returns logged against the shipment
Log unsold copies against the shipment they came from. Pelcro won't accept a return larger than the delivered quantity, and every return keeps its quantity, reason, and date for audit.

AR Aging buckets every open invoice into Not Yet Due, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90, 91–120, and Over 120 days. Settle several store invoices with one offline payment, and apply credit notes to open invoices.

AI billing for single copies
Write the dealer's pricing in plain language and the AI Billing Agent bills from approved shipments only. It applies day-specific rates, such as one price for Thursday copies and another for Friday, and subtracts returns at the rate you set. Printed or emailed invoices go to the store's billing contact.
Carrier management
Manage carriers and delivery agents in one place
Every carrier, driver, or delivery agent is a vendor record with coverage, rates, and bank details. Pelcro routes copies to them and calculates what they're owed.
Coverage in plain language
Each carrier's delivery rules say which ZIP codes, street ranges, or cities they cover. Street-range rules take priority over city rules, and addresses that match nothing are left unassigned for you to review.
Routes and delivery sequence
Set a driver delivery sequence for each address. It's included in fulfillment exports and orders the Bundle Manifest, so every route runs in the right order.
Missed deliveries and deductions
Record missed deliveries with deduction codes. Only the codes listed in a carrier's delivery rules reduce their bill, so you control what gets deducted.
Reassign routes in bulk
Ask the AI Agent to move addresses from one carrier to another and confirm before anything changes. Reassignment history keeps the previous carrier and lets you revert.
Carrier bills from delivered copies
Run billing for a date window and Pelcro creates one bill per carrier from approved fulfillments, priced at copies delivered times the carrier's rate, minus deductions. If a route changed carriers mid-cycle, each delivery is billed to the carrier who made it.
Pay carriers and pass on tips
Export a NACHA payment batch for carriers with valid ACH details. Subscribers can add recurring or one-time carrier tips, and Pelcro creates a bill for the carrier assigned to their address.

Track returns directly from the Fulfillments section on a subscription's details page — no separate returns system to maintain.
Process a return once a fulfillment is approved. Pelcro validates that the returned quantity can't exceed what was delivered, so records stay accurate automatically.
Every return logs a quantity, reason, and creation date — giving support a clear, auditable history without digging through spreadsheets.
For dealers on an AI plan, returns are subtracted from the next invoice at the rate you set, and the Shipments & Returns report exports both sides for revenue recognition.
